Fees: are per person and are due with registration. Fees are non-refundable unless ECETI cancels programs. There is a late registration fee of $5 per person per registration form. Walk-in registrants will be charged an additional $7-$10 per workshop and is payable at the door.
Cancellations: In the case of cancellation, participants may chose to reschedule or be fully refunded. Participants will be notified by telephone or email as early as possible in case of cancellation unless for weather.
Registrations are accepted in order of receipt. No space is guaranteed without full payment. Minimum class enrollment is 10. Space is limited for each workshop and course.
Certificates: Participants will receive certificates of attendance containing quarterly. Workshops attended within the quarter will be consolidated on one certificate. It is extremely important that we have the correct spelling of your name, your correct address and place of employment. Childcare centers will receive a complete listing of all the workshops their employees have participated in semi-annually provided we have the necessary information to link employer/employee and the correct mailing address.
Accreditation: ECETI supports licensing regulations and enthusiastically encourages program accreditation through the National Academy of Early Childhood Programs or the National Association for Family Child Care.
On-site staff-training/in-service workshops are available.
Please Note: ECETI follows the guidelines of the CT Department of Public Health Regulations and Statutes, NAEYC Developmentally Appropriate Practice, and accreditation criteria in all workshop content, presentations, consultations and on-site workshops to the best of our ability. Individual presenters may share information, new techniques or ideas that the Institute will not be responsible for. It is not the intent of ECETI to judge or question policies that are currently in place in licensed establishments, rather to use DAP as a measure of best practice. All activities suggested by ECETI and its presenters should be used under proper supervision, and, ECETI will not be held liable for any incidents relating from their use.
